Steel and electric parts manufacturing is our core activity. Our main partners are the Hungarian community transport companies. We supply subunits to nearly all of their subcomponents such as brakes, powertrains, and electric fittings. Manufacturing such products require rigorous control and regulations, therefore all processes are monitored and inspected to ensure the continuous and safe operation of public transport vehicles.

We apply the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 integrated management system.

Shock absorber refurbishment for rail vehicles

We have been refurbishing and modernising railway shock absorbers for 30 years and our primary work reference is the shock absorber refurbishment work for Budapest’s suburban railways and metro. In the past, we also refurbished and made new shock absorbers for different Ikarus bus models for 15 years.

Verifying is done on site with a certified test bench with computer based evaluation and documentation that we modernised in 2015.

Measurement range: 2.000-15.000 N. Stroke: 28 mm.

Electric sub-component manufacturing

We have founded NAST Ltd to manufacture and refurbish various contact components for electric units of public transport vehicles, especially rail vehicles and we also specialised in fuse manufacturing.

Our company researched and developed cartridge and knife-blade fuses in this special segment that are still used in many public transport vehicles. Our product portfolio includes relays, contacts, contact screws, bridge contacts and insert contacts. Reliable welding technique guarantees high quality aesthetic insert contact production.

To our partner in Germany we regularly supply mechanical components for electric units such as control pedals, rotary switches, and contacts that are used for wind turbines, cranes and industrial vehicles. We also manufacture fuses and contacts year on year to Poland for the Warsaw Metro.
